| What
is coaching? Coaching is a result-oriented
working partnership between a coach and a client.
The results produced from this relationship are
observable and measurable, commensurate with the
requirements the organization has for the
performance of the person being coached. In your
situation the results that we will be seeking to
produce is a 100% absorption and implementation
of what you have learned during our training
programs.
But I am
still not clear on the concept. I understand my
role in the partnership, but what will the coach
do?
- A coach
will provide on-going structure,
accountability, motivation, and support
to help you execute your plans.
- A coach
will help you identify and remove
unproductive behaviors that keep you from
achieving your desired results.
- A coach
will help you access and utilize your
potential, resulting in an increase in
business performance, self-reliance,
growth, personal success and happiness.
- A coach
will act as an objective sounding board -
- telling the truth as he or she sees it.
- A coach
will assist you in finding your own
solutions, thus creating
self-sufficiency, independence and
growth.
- A coach
will teach where the coach has expertise,
celebrate your victories, and stand by
your side through tough times.
What will the
coaching session look like?
- Coaching
sessions are confidential; they last
30-45 minutes and are conducted one to
four times per month in person or on the
phone, individually, or in small groups.
- You will
typically discuss your workweek with your
coach, bring up any issues you had with
implementing what you have learned.
- A coach may
help you clarify the new concepts.
- Through
conversation, a coach may help you
uncover the reasons of why you may be
resisting the new learning.
- Group
coaching sessions may be indicated if
your organization sent several people to
our training program
How many
sessions will I need?
It varies
depending on the individual. Normally, it takes
41 day to form a habit. Based on Franklin
Covey research, we recommend 6 to 8 sessions.
